279- Obsession

This week on Almost Accurate:

• Marvel’s Wolverine isn’t doing so hot critically and with the fans, possibly a reflection on the general sentiment of Sony and PlayStation at the moment
• Hideo Kojima is thriving in his post breakup with Sony and is happy to trot out some more Hollywood actors in his new partnership with Xbox
• Resident Evil is scroing quite well on Rotten Tomatoes
• The boys are delving deep into the new Gen Z sensation Obsession.
• Honestly, it’s good that good movies are coming out. We love to not be serious when we’re doing this podcast, but at the end of the day we love actually watching and talking about movies that are good, and Obsession gives us hope for the new generation, and the movie industry as a whole. We’ve been through some fallow periods, and hopefully we can read a harvest of creativity and a bit of originality in the future.
