This week the boys are back and its time to talk about Alien Romulus (now on Hulu for all you in the States) and it is a wild ride that really REALLY wants to remind you all of the original (and still probably best Alien movie in the franchise). Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

Hey, this week it's just like it says on the tin. The boys are here to talk about both (excellent) recaps of the Max's The Penguin, and the beautiful and still fun to play Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered. It sure is nice to have two good things to talk about isn't it? Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

Hi all, First off all of us should wish Ryan a VERY happy birthday! Unfortunately we weren't able to record a new episode this week. We were going to talk some news and about the Horizon Zero Dawn Remaster, but instead we are going to dip back into our vault! So instead we're reaching back over two years (if you can believe it, we certainly can't) to us talking about Horizon Forbidden West (back when it was still new. Damn, still hard to believe it's almost 2025, that is truly insane). ...

This week the boys have watched the GREAT indie horror movie, Late Night with the Devil. In the news, Nintendo is doing everything they can to not announce the Switch 2, Macaulay Culkin is joining the cast for Amazon's Fallout season 2, and The Pokémon Company is trying their darnedest to get kids (and aging millennials) to gamble with their new mobile app. Hosted on Acast. This halloween we've done the spookiest thing we could possibly imagine.... review a ton of things all at once! We've watched the fantastic indie horror movie Talk to Me, and speaking of talking to me.... The Final Girls is an absolutely insane and ridiculous movie, but still a fun watch. Hey, speaking of insane and ridiculous..... M. Night is back at it again with Trap. Oh! and one of us also binged the entirety of the Netflix's newest Gundam anime, Requiem for Vengeance. Yeah, that should a...

Hey Guys, we weren't able to record a fresh episode for you all this week so instead we did the next best thing..... that's right, we're reaching WAAAAAAYYYY back into the newly named Almost Accurate vault and pulled out a spooky (and goofy) old gem from the past. Enjoy us talking about the absolutely ridiculous Return of the Killer Tomatoes this week! Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

The boys do their now weekly check-in for the Penguin, and Jake talks about the most bummed spending $30 he's been in quite some time (it's Starfield's very very mid DLC, Shattered Space in case you all didn't get the reference.) Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

That's right folks, we're back to doing weekly podcasts and we invite you all to join us in watching the cozy fall masterpiece, Over the Garden Wall. Based on the amount of people that watched this Cartoon Network mini-series when it came out a decade ago, you probably hadn't seen it either, but now that we have, we are going to beat the drum that this is a autumnal masterpiece that should be celebrated for its eccentricities each and every fall from here on out. An animation style that...

The boys waddle their way into a stringily good mafia crime caper this week... that's right we're talking about DC's new Max original, The Penguin! Join us as we talk about the grittiness of Gotham, the wetness of the streets, and reminds ourselves "oh yeah, that really is Collin Farrell under all that makeup and the fat suit isn't it?" He's doing a helluva job and this show is off to a great start, what else can we say? Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

On this episode the boys talk about the OUTRAGEOUS price of the PS5 Pro, possible Switch 2 leaks, Mortal Combat 2 getting a release date and more in the news! Also... Agatha All Along released yesterday and honestly we're still trying to figure out what we feel about it. It sure seems to be setting up for... something, right?? Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

From Baby Reindeer, to Killing of a Sacred Deer, the boys have really gone full circle with their episode choices this year. Due to some traveling circumstances, the boys are recording a week early, and have gone in on Yorgos Lanthimos' 2017 Killing of a Sacred Deer and boy oh boy do they have some thoughts. Enjoy! Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

Damn. What a great show.... what a lackluster final season. What was going to be a normal episode quickly turned into an hour-long therapy session from Jake & Ryan, and the good news is you all get to listen in. That's fun right? Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

Quips. That's what this episode is all about folks, it's quips, cameos, and oh look, Robert Downey Jnr. is back to play Victor von Doom! That's right, Jake and Ryan have watched Deadpool & Wolverine, and also have a full week's worth of news to catch up on! Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

Jake & Ryan are back... or... is it possibly their evil twins perhaps? Both of the boys (or sets of them) have finally got around to watching the newest Star Wars series, The Acolyte and share their thoughts on the opening to the season. They've also got news galore including (unfortunately) a very long list of in memoriams this week, Walton Goggins and the Fallout crew are racking up Emmy nominations, the Russo brothers are returning to direct even more Avengers movies, and trailers! ...

This week the boys are back on Discord and are talking who's in their "acting" hall of fame, why there isn't an "acting" hall of fame, and also if they've ever seen a movie so, so awful that they've physically had to remove themselves from whatever movie theater (or church) that they were viewing said movie in. They've also been watching stuff- Ryan has been keeping up with the newest season of The Boys, and he's been getting his Pixar on by finally watching Elemental. Jake watched Ariz...

The Boys oh the Boys are back. Yes of course we're talking about Jake & Ryan after taking an extra week between episodes this time, but also Amazon Prime's hit series that is still the best thing they make. What a fantastic show. Also- how cool is it to finally catch a glimpse of Metroid Prime 4 and it being a real, seemingly good video game that's actually going to come out at some point?? We sure do live in a crazy world right?? Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for mor...

Full disclosure folks... we weren't sure what we were going to talk about before we saw this article on Polygon a few minutes before we started recording so... enjoy "our" most anticipated TV shows of summer 2024! Joking aside, there are some quality choices on this list... we're talking the Boys season 4, Clipped, a Batman animated series spinoff, House of the Dragon season 2, and more! Yeah, it's gonna be a good summer to sit in the AC and enjoy some fresh, fire content. We'll be there f...

This week the boys dive into the twisted world of Netflix's newest hit, Baby Reindeer. They've also got a treasure trove of news to talk about, from Nintendo's newest console, to new castings in the MCU, and even more! Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

The boys are back and we're back with even more Fallout. Is this our surprised best show of 2024?? Thus far, the answer certainly seems to be yes. But, there is even more on the horizon, because that Deadpool & Wolverine trailer looks to be setting up something that we daresay might actually be good? Yeah! We daresay yes! Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

This week the boys talk about the first half of the surprisingly strong Amazon series Fallout. Like seriously, this was SO much better than we expected, it's honestly as shocking as the USSR pumping a ton of nukes our way. What's that? Oh yeah, the USSR is still around in the Fallout series, just like black and white TV's and other 1950's things.... yeah it's a whole thing and we DEFINITELY cover it all in the most graceful way imaginable. Plus we have a full episodes worth of news! There'...

This week Jake and Ryan jump back into the late 90's to look at this fantastic Disney + sequel series, X-Men '97! They also have a jam-packed week of news, from a supposed Happy Gilmore sequel being developed on Netflix, to a new trailer for Colin Farrell's Penguin, to how music and tv kinda sucks in the modern age. Hey, we do it all on this show. And we're getting older and we like to complain sometimes. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

We have another bumper episode of news, with some new trailers for the Star Wars Acolyte series, The Crow, & announcements that The Batman 2 is being delayed, a second season of Peacemaker is coming.... sometime... they're making another animated Cat in the Hat movie... in 2026... and that Blade movie is never coming out. Like seriously. Point being, new movies will come out eventually! And rest assured, when they do, Almost Accurate will be here watching them. But in the meantime, we sit ...

Wow that was a long title. I've had to put my thumbs on ice from all of the typing I've just done. Anyways, I guess it's time to write an episode description unless you all think that title is long enough. You know what? I'll say it again. This is about playing Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, and we talk about watching Midsummer and the movie Thanksgiving (the movie, not the holiday. Our review of the holiday of Thanksgiving is like, way different). Also there's some news. Anything we miss?? ...

The boys have been sick but the news doesn't stop! Jake snagged an Analogue Pocket (IYKYK) which is pretty rad, Madam Web has been a huge 'effing flop for Marvel & Sony, Star Wars is releasing a collection of Battlefront games, and SO SO many more things! Strap in y'all, 3 weeks is a lot of time for news to accumulate and the boys do their dardnest to plow through all this packed in winter news. Lord help us. Hosted on Acast.
